For the 2008/09 season Dennis Challis will be appointing to The Wessex Premier, Division 1 and Wessex League cup games.( Referees and assistants). If you are appointed to games in these competitions confirmation of appointments together with any closed dates for the following month should be sent to him by using the yellow acceptance cards provided. Nick Taplin will be appointing to the Wessex Combination Leagues and the Combination cup and confirmation of these appointments together with closed dates should be sent to him immediately. Please ensure you reply to the appropriate person. Level 4 referees are reminded that any appointment to a Premier or Division 1 game must be closed with the FA.

Will all officials please note that no jewellery is to be worn. There are no exceptions and all clubs have been made aware. In addition the FA are forwarding to all clubs posters to display in the home and away changing rooms. The simple guide line is that any player wearing jewellery does not play.

ALL OFFICIALS ARE ASKED THAT WHEN RETURNING THEIR ACCEPTANCE CARDS TO INCLUDE CLOSED DATES FOR THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD. THERE WILL BE GAMES ON THE 20th, 27th DECEMBER AND THE 3rd OF JANUARY. HOWEVER CLUBS MAY PLAY ON THE 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 29th OR 30th ALTHOUGH IT IS ENVISAGED THE THREE SATURDAYS WILL BE FAVOURITE.
