FAN BEHAVIOUR & SAFETY - TOOLKIT
The FA have launched a toolkit to support the NLS clubs with match day safety, in recognising the unfortunate increases in bad fan behaviour.
The toolkit - which can be downloaded via the link below - is just the start of further work that we will undertake to support NLS Clubs on this topic.
Locally, the Wessex League are proud to have already taken a proactive lead on this important matter, in partnering with MDP Security to provide training and support for club stewards, bar personnel and volunteers.
FAN BEHAVIOUR & SAFETY TOOLKIT
Laurence Jones, Head of National League System at The FA said:
“Anti-social fan behaviour has no place in football and we stand united across the NLS and the rest of the game to send a strong message that such incidents will not be tolerated.
“The FA and the NLS Leagues are taking an all-football approach to tackling these behaviours to ensure all participants, including our loyal volunteers and spectators, are free to watch matches in a family friendly, inclusive and safe environment for all.”
