NEWQUAY TASK FOR BAFFINS IN VASE

September 25, 2023

Baffins Milton Rovers have been drawn away to Newquay AFC in one of the stand-out ties in the FA Vase first round draw.

Danny Thompson's side will make the 424 mile round trip to the South West Peninsula Premier Division West side for their meeting at Mount Wise on Saturday, October 21.

Heading in the opposite direction are Falmouth Town of the Toolstation Western Premier who clock-up similar mileage for their meeting with Fareham Town at Cams Alders.

Also facing Toolstation Western opposition are Portland United, who like Baffins, venture into Cornwall in taking on Torpoint Athletic.

There are two all-Wessex League ties of our 13 sides who made it through to this stage - as Cowes Sports entertain Totton & Eling at Westwood Park, while Downton host New Milton Town in an all-Division One encounter.
