PITMAN MAKES ROCKIES SWITCH
June 23, 2023
Shaftesbury have added prolific front man, Brett Pitman, to their Premier Division squad.
The Rockies have drafted in the former AFC Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Bristol City, Ipswich Town and Swindon Town man to Cockrams, following his red-hot maiden season in the Wessex League at AFC Portchester, which returned 50 goals as they narrowly missed out on a promotion berth.
Pitman's new club is closer to his Dorset home, with the 35-year-old talisman one of a number of impressive signings for Shaftesbury this summer, having already secured the services of midfielder Luke Holmes from Poole, centre-back Ash Wells and goalkeeper Shane Murphy from Wimborne Town, and Thiago Caze da Silva from Dorchester Town.
