PORTLAND'S PLAY-OFF JOY
Portland United will be playing Step 4 football for the first time in the club's history, after coming through a penalty shoot-out to defeat Laverstock & Ford.
A crowd of 810 at the Camp & Satherley Stadium witnessed a closely fought encounter between third and fifth which ended in stalemate after extra time.

Five successful spot kicks ensued from Corbridge, Borthwick and Scott for the Dorset side; Colmer and Lovegrove for Laverstock - before hosts 'keeper Toby Steiner-Reid (pictured above, courtesy of Michelle Carr) made a low save down to his left to deny Cegielka.

Nixon converted his strike from 12 yards to make it 4-2 with Arnold reducing again to a single goal, however Josh Camp's effort would prove decisive to send the Blues up.

Our congratulations to all at Portland United, and commiserations to Laverstock & Ford.
