STONEHAM SEAL WEMBLEY DATE
AFC Stoneham are off to Wembley for the first time in their history after completing a 6-1 aggregate victory over Hallam in their FA Vase semi-final.
Captain, Alex Welch scored twice in the first half and came agonisingly close to completing a hat-trick in added time. Tyrell Sampson did find a third midway through the second period, as the Purps took the second leg 3-1 in front of a club record gate of 851 at Stoneham Lane.

Speaking to the Non-League Paper, AFC Stoneham boss, James Phillips said: "It's an incredible feeling, I'm incredibly proud of the group.
"The start of the game was tough, they had nothing to lose and had to come at us. After 25 minutes we started to get a hold of the game and quality shone through."
Stoneham will meet Cockfosters of the Spartan South Midlands Premier in the showpiece at Wembley Stadium on May 17.
Our congratulations to AFC Stoneham on reaching the final - they are the fifth Wessex League side to do so and the first since Sholing, who won the competition in 2014.
